A Data Analyst Engineer based out of UK. I am passionate about Data analytics, engineering and Machine learning. A relatively private individual, with an ability to concentrate on the task at hand. Consistent and thoughtful. I work best with familiar processes and do things systematically. I am tolerant, easy-going, and uncritical in getting along with others.

Infovista Ltd UK - Data Analyst Engineer

Mar 2023 - Present

  • Led the design, development, and integration of data adapters, analytic metrics/KPIs and aggregators on cloud native* application to consume google protocol buffer SIP stream and provide business insights/reports on STIR/SHAKEN for telecom service providers, generating sales of around $2M in 18 months.
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of data integrity failures on customer AWS clusters + create/modify CI/CD pipelines.
  • Data transformation troubleshooting on postgres and clichouse DB on AWS cluster
  • Gained deep knowledge of Linux operating systems, shell scripting and fair experience and exposure to containerization methods like Docker and Kubernetes for a cloud native software development.

    Developed a data-driven model to forecast the energy consumption of HVAC systems with around 85% accuracy. Models used include Artificial Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, and Random Forests. The accuracy of short-term and long-term forecast was also compared.     Pursed my master's degree at Politecnico di Milano, Italy with a fully funded scholarship for two and half years. One of my course which dealt with analytic evaluation of building systems, especially heating and cooling got me interested data science, analytics and machine learning to perform energy consumption prediction of AC units in residential buildings. It was this time when I was associated with the Data Optima Lab as a Research assistant.
